My xbox media player (streaming over dlna) will NOT detect the content that has been downloaded through Sonarr on a Synology DS214 NAS. All my other content that has been downloaded with DS Downloaded is detectable. I’ve tried to allow Sonarr to set permissions after the file has been processed but it gives me “permission denied” in the log file
My bad. Thought the problem had something to do with the permissions of the file. Turns out the problem has to do with sonarr not indexing the files once they are completed. After I did a re-index the files are now visible, but anything that has been downloaded after the re-index will not show up. Unless I do a manual re-index

Are you trying to set the user or the mask? Only setting the mask will work as you need to be root to change the owner.
Please Hastebin ((debug logs)) from an import so we can see them.
There isn’t support for Synology indexer (yet) in the master release, only develop.
Next time please hastebin logs and the log you included weren’t debug.
Sorry I’m a novice at this. To do this set logs to debug in settings. Then copy Nzbdrone.txt in logs/files to hastebin?
Thanks Markus
Thats correct, but at this point there isn’t anything the logs will show since the fact that they aren’t indexed is the issue.
Okay, awesome. I cleared the logs then did a single automated download with sonaar. The log for that is listed below
Is there anything else I can do?
hastebin log
Not until the next update is out and you enable the Synology indexer in Sonarr.
