Find files that don't belong?

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.3953
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 3.10.0 (tarball Wed Nov 5 12:50:04 UTC 2014)
OS: Ubuntu 15.10

Is there a script available that will search down into the series paths and list any files not tracked by Sonarr / should not be there? I’d like to be able to list everything that Sonarr doesn’t know about which will let me delete/rename/move to get back disk space. I’ve been doing this with ad-hoc scripts, but they’re clumsy and would love something that worked better.

eg: sometimes I end up with just files left laying around that I forget are there, eg under “todo” dirs, sometimes there’s old .nfo or .jpg files that don’t seem belong to anything, or have the incorrect name.

(PS Thanks for Sonarr, it’s one of the better webapps around)
