Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.1.374 Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): OS: Windows Server 2016 Debug logs: https://pastebin.com/XESNVv01 Description of issue: Sonarr appears to only run 3 tasks simultaneously. This appears to cause issues as we currently restored a backup and thus the Scheduled Tasks started. Refresh Series ran for 18 hours and during this, two (2) Episode Searches tasks ran. While they did move on to different series they were searching episodes for, as these 3 tasks ran for 18 hours together, none of the other tasks ran such as “Check For Finished Downloads” which then filled our drive used for downloads.
Debug logs are not for past 18 hours but does show “Check For Finished Downloads” not running.
Refresh should be quick unless you’re pulling in files from a remote file system for media info to read.
Looks like Sonarr was set to search for the entire series of episodes (or all missing?), which can take a long time, if you use up all the threads running long running searches + the refresh/rescan task executes then yes, nothing else will run.
Looks like each episode took ~7 seconds to search, which is pretty reasonable, but multiplied by hundreds/thousands, it will add up.
It is actually installed on the same server as all the media is on.
I had to roll back due to some weird database malformed errors. Could this be a clue to the problem with refresh series? This problem is new to the past couple of weeks.
Edit: Snodrog and I are troubleshooting the same server
I don’t recall any changes to the Refresh Series process and I’m not seeing any issues refreshing in my setups, taking about 2 seconds to refresh/rescan.
As snodrog posted (and got banned for posting an image?) 1874 currently.
It is odd. Since I did the restore to backup, things seem odd. I have ~700GB of content waiting to be moved by Sonarr, and it doesn’t seem to see it- all things it downloaded since the restore.
Was blocked pending approval of the post, looks like due to being a new user and posting just the image/the software deemed it too fast.
It depends on the download client, Sonarr will only get the last 30 items from SABnzbd, but other clients it should be getting everything.
1800 series will take a while to process, but not 18 hours long, you should be able to refresh a series or two manually to see how long they take to get an idea how long it could take.
