Files downloading but Sonarr thinks have failed. Newsbin pro download client

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5085
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Windows 10
((Debug logs)): Wasn’t set to debug, can’t get to recreate yet
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here)
Description of issue: I’m running Newsbin pro and set Sonnar to use it as a download client. Its been working but the last few shows that I downloaded showed that they failed several times and then completed. In reality, Sonnar downloaded the same file about 6 times each and imported one into the show folder and left the rest where they downloaded. I am not sure why they were marked as failed in the history but thought it may be a known issue with the latest update or something. I am currently waiting for another show to trigger an automatic download so I can see if it happens again with debug on this time.

The history details for the failures should show why it was marked as failed.

Got and update on this finally. Here is the part of the Debug log, I just put the part that referenced completion

1st attempt at show download. It says failed but the file did complete download anyways.

3rd time Sonarr says successful. It did download and Sonarr moved it into the correct folder.

If you look at the episode history, what reason does Sonarr show for it failing?
If you disable remove failed downloads you can also check in Newsbin.

“It says out of server retention?” like its a question but it still downloading the episodes so I dunno. If I disable remove failed downloads, how would I check in newsbin? The episodes show under the file list as completed currently. All three of the downloads, in fact. Including both that supposedly failed and the third which completed.

You’d need to disable remove failed downloads in Sonarr and check next time there is a failure.

That sounds like Newsbin doesn’t know and it failed on a recent release due to propagation delays. Setting a minimum age in Sonarr would probably help there.

Sonarr uses the status from the download client to determine if something has failed, not sure why Newsbin would report an error when it was actually successful.
