As a newbie to sabnzbd and especially to Sonarr I have pages upon pages of show requests queued at varying priorities from Low to High. The most common situation that I am running into now is having a manually set High priority download fail and having Sonarr re-queue with a different NZB file and it takes the default priority of an older episode which is Low.
My suggestion is to add a tab to the Failed Download Handling section of the download client definition to override the normal priority assignment.
Sonarr has no way to know what to override it with by the time failed downloads are detected by Sonarr the priority it had in the queue in SABnzbd is gone (history items to not retain the priority of the item from the queue).
At best it would be another generic option to requeue failed downloads at a certain priority regardless of the age, but that would add a lot of complication to the failed download process for a minimal gain, which is not likely something we’ll spend time on.
