Is there an option to expand all seasons? It seems as though Drone is having issues remembering if I expanded a season or not. I thought I saw a button at one time, but maybe I am crazy.
If not a feature, does anyone think this is a good idea? Or would like this?
Drone doesn’t remember the state of the season being open or closed, it only opens the current season, I forget the specific implementation, but I believe its also open if it recently aired or will be airing soon.
Hadn’t really considered it before, it seems like a reasonable idea, but might feel a bit cluttered, whats the reasoning behind it?
Pro tip: you can double click between the season header and the organize/search buttons for the season to expand/close the season.
My thought is for seasons that are incomplete. It displays the “red button”, but I can’t tell which episodes are missing. For instance, if I am missing an entire season, and Drone only finds a couple of the episodes in the season, I have to expand the details each time.
But this also goes for seasons that are complete. I can see the “green button” to show that each episode has been downloaded, but I can’t see the quality. Yes, there is a quality set for each Series, but that doesn’t mean that episodes are in that quality. Example: South Park has 17 seasons. Some of my seasons are complete, some aren’t, and some are very low quality. Helps to see this all at glance.
I’m double clicking all over /series/whose-line-is-it-anyway and nothing happens for me.
Oh, duh. Right there. But isn’t that technically the same as clicking “Show Episodes”, since it’s 1 inch away.
Maybe it can just be a simple switch in “Settings > Media Management”. Edit: Or on the TV show page. Season View: [ ] Expand seasons [ ] Collapse seasons [ ] Remember
You are welcome! Thank you for taking the time to address my [mundane] idea. Haha
+1. A button would be great but I would even be happy with an option to just always expand all seasons globally. Most of the time, I am viewing a series in order to organize or look through old episodes of series with many seasons, mainly documentaries. It is a real pain to have to expand 5-10 seasons every time I open those pages.
