So I’m just setting up Sonarr, and weirdly enough, for a lot of files it works perfectly. However, for some files, I get this error message after downloading: “Intermediate Download path inside drone factory, Skipping.”
These files are fetched through Sonarr, downloaded by SabNZBD. I’m not entirely sure what the issue is.
For downloads coming from Sonarr I set up the category in Sab as tv with the path
/Downloads/TV/
This is also the drone factory path.
It’s a little confusing why some files seem to process fine and others get stuck.
Hope someone has some good advice.
PS- I see a lot of threads online talking about Sonarr in combination with NZBget instead of Sab. Is that a preferred combination? Would Sonarr work more reliably with NZBget as opposed to Sab?
That error means the /Downloads/TV/ path is also shared with drone factory, and then download client items won’t be processed, resulting in the error.
In sonarr, go to Settings > Download Client > (enable advanced settings) > Drone Factory Options.
What’s the path listed there? Change it to /Downloads/Manual/ or something.
And if you are not using Drone Factory, it’s best to disable it (clear the path, set the interval to 0) since it’s not really required if you set up your download client(s) in combination with Completed Download Handling.
SAB vs NZBGet: personal preference I think. I moved over to NZBGet a few days ago because it seems less resource-hungry. Either of them work the same for downloading from usenet, and have their own advantages/disadvantages…
