Episodes take long to update names

Sonarr version ( Sonarr Ver. 2.0.0.5344 ):
Windows 7:
Series names not updating right away:
I am confused as to how Sonarr updates from the TVDB when it comes to TV series and episodes. I have this show “Dead to Me” that’s been updated from Episode 1, 2 3 etc. since yesterday but no matter how many times I refresh the series from within Sonarr, it simply does not update the episode names. I know it will eventually show the episode names in 2 or 3 days, but what is the purpose of the update series info option? Shouldn’t this be instant?

There are various caches between thetvdb and sonarr, I recall one of the devs saying it takes at least a day…

The day comes from TheTVDB side so there isn’t anything we can do there currently.
