Episodes stop downloading until series folder is deleted

Hello, I’m experiencing a strange behavior with several shows in Sonarr.

Example:
A show has 12 episodes announced, 10 already aired. A week ago, Sonarr grabbed and downloaded the first 3 episodes without issues. However, as new episodes are released, Sonarr does not download them automatically.

If I trigger a normal search (not manual) nothing happens. But if I delete the entire show folder from disk and then run a search again (just like the daily RSS sync), Sonarr suddenly grabs the show again, this time with the newer episodes included.

This is not limited to one series — I’ve seen it with at least three different shows. Basically, Sonarr only downloads the first batch of episodes and then stops, until I delete the local folder, which forces it to recognize the new pack and grab it.

Has anyone else seen this behavior, or is there something in my setup that could explain it?

Sonarr automatic search only catches newly released episodes. For already aired episodes you need to manually force the search.

For anything else, you need to provide all the details that you skipped over that were asked for when you started the new topic.
