Episodes redownloading over 100 times

This just started happening recently after having used Sonarr/Drone for over a year without issue. Near as I can tell, it’s downloading WEB-DL nzbs, but then when they finished they get moved and renamed as only HDTV, which is lower on my quality profile so it goes back for a WEB-DL (often the same one) which it redownloads then again gets named as HDTV. Repeat ad naseum. Here’s an example chunk of what I hope is the correct log:

I hope I’m submitting this right… Let me know if you need anything else, or different logs, or whatnot.

Which version of Sonarr?
Is TV sorting enabled in SAB?

I’m curious what the path is that Sonarr is importing from. You can get it in history (or the activity tab for that episode). It will look like this:

Sonarr will read the quality from the file and the folder and choose the better quality when importing, which will prevent this issue from happening, unless there is something else messing up with the structure.

Sonarr version 2.0.0.2850.
No TV sorting in SAB. Category is set to download to d:\downloads\nzbdronecomplete, using completed download handling in Sonarr rather than the drone factory.

Activity page doesn’t look like yours…

EDIT: Max Folder length in SAB is set to 64 because SAB (or sickbeard, I can’t remember) used to implode with long file names. I think this is removing the quality info from the end of the folder name in SAB. Could that do it?

You need to hover over the (i) icon to see the full message (of the import event).

Yes, that would do it. If you use a short enough path, like E:\SAB\Unsorted TV\ you really shouldn’t have long path problems, I’ve never had issues with my source path.

Great, I set it back to the default length. It was an issue I ran into literally years ago and I’m pretty sure it was fixed a long time ago. Plus like I said I think it was a sickbeard script that was having problems so… No longer an issue, Haha.

Thanks a lot for the help!
