I was wondering if someone could help me with this. Something happened last night with with one of the providers, a bunch of fake episodes (passworded) was put on to NZBX. NZBDrone is stuck with “Downloading” in the episode status. I’ve tried as many things as I can to clear it, but can’t get rid of it.
Any suggestions?

It will go to downloaded after NzbDrone imports the file or sees it in your TV show folder, or it will clear automatically and go back to missing after 24 hours.
Is there any way to clear this manually? other than deleting the series and re-adding. Perhaps, even a suggestion for future versions, a clear status button.
You could clear it in the database directly if its an issue. NzbDrone will handle this better in the future, but a dedicated button to clear the status seems like a waste of effort for the fact it will be rarely used.
