I 'm a long time SB user first time Drone user.

My issue is with episode naming and creating new series & season folders, I can not get this to work. All I want is to DL my file and move to the the correct folder then rename the file with the correct string and want the extra files deleted. So here is my setup.

Windows 7 64bit
SB (on standby), CP ,HP, Plex Server, Madsonic, OwnCloud, & SABNzb

Drone Factory Folder
C:\Users\XXXX\Documents\Downloads\complete ( This is the same folder as my SABNzb complete folder )

I have SABNzb Enable TV Sorting turned off

I have Drone Episode Naming enabled

I have to two NAS one drive full with shows and another picking up the slack. ( both are mapped drives )

I am so close but renaming and file clean up are a deal breaker for me. Can anyone help and tell me what I am doing wrong. Thnx

drone will grab files from the drone factory folder and move them to the series folder + season season folder (if enabled), renaming the files according to your rules.

Your settings look right to me, but I’m not clear what the exact issue is. Can you elaborate on the issue? What part is working, what part isn’t?

The move works fine but it doesnet create a series folder nor season folder and it does not rename folder/file it looks like this (Showname.S05E01.DVDRip.XviD-BuFFy). Also all the loose files are still in the folder. As if I unzipped it myself.

This means drone isn’t sorting the files after they are downloaded.

Where are the files ending up?
Whats the series path you’re expecting it to sort to?
Are you using a category with SAB?

The files are ending up in the correct place which is my NAS drive

Category with SAB is “tv”

If they end up on the NAS drive thats enough (just wanted to make sure it was intended to move them, not some misconfiguration, but I don’t think drone is sorting them. It will not move anything but the video file and it will create the series/season folders. If you enable Trace logging (Settings -> General) it will log the process it takes when moving files, if you can put something in the drone factory folder you expect to be sorted you can see in the logs as it processes.

Since you’re using the tv category with SAB you should point the Drone Factory at: C:\\Users\\XXXX\\Documents\\Downloads\\complete\\tv

Do you still have SB’s script running?

Do mean am I still running SB? or do you mean if the sabtosickbeard,exe script in still in the script dropdown box.

Also what path does the tv category in SAB have? (In Categories settings in SAB)

That means anything sent to the tv category gets dropped in X:\\ - which is not what you want, change it to C:\\Users\\XXXX\\Documents\\Downloads\\complete\\tv and drone factory to the same and it will sort properly.
