Duplicates when downloading

Sonarr version (exact version): Sonarr Ver. 2.0.0.4230
OS: OSX El Capitan 10.11.6
Description of issue:

I have an issue with my sonarr. I always get a duplicate with every show that is downloaded. I have one folder with all the tvshowfolders and then a seasonfolder and in that seasonfolder there is the downloaded episode with the correct name that sonarr has corrected. But there is also a folder in the folder where all the tvshowfolders are with the same episode but the name can look a little different.

My guess is that sonarr downloads the whole torrent and puts it in that folder where all my shows are and then makes a copy of the .mkv file and changes the name and puts it in the right tvshow/season folder. But I want it to delete that first file after it is done copying. Does anyone know how to do that?

Thank you in advance!

Sounds like you have your torrent client downloading there, you should have your torrent client put the files in another location (don’t mix sorted and unsorted files).

Sonarr will copy or hardlink files for torrents that are seeding in your client still, telling Sonarr to remove completed downloads will instruct Sonarr to remove the torrent from the client after it finishes downloading (if Sonarr supports that functionality for that client).
