DEBUG LOG:

16-8-8 16:54:56.8|Info|Bootstrap|Starting Sonarr - C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone\bin\NzbDrone.exe - Version 2.0.0.4230

Description of issue:

No data in the drone folder (T:\torrent_share\one) is ever processed. Data comes in both t:\torrent_share\one\showname\episode1.mkv and in t:\torrent_share\one\showname\episode1\episode1.r01 RAR formats

Renamed drone folder in file system, selected new drone folder in Sonarr GUI, changed interval to ten minutes. Cleared logs, exited Sonarr, restarted Sonarr. Went to Wanted and clicked Rescan Drone Folder. At the bottom right, a pop-up says “[downloadedepisodescan] completed” immediately after clicking the rescan button. No change in any logs whatsoever.

I haven’t ever used the drone folder in this installation, so I’m unsure if it ever worked. Completed download handling was working fine, but nothing new’s come down for the last 3 days, so I’m not sure about that either. Activity page correctly shows what deluge is downloading.

We need those logs in their entirety (you need to enable it in settings), posted to pastebin, hastebin or something else.

Why are you wanting to use drone factory? If its to import some other downloads use manual import.

That is the logs in their entirety. As specified in the troubleshooting notes:

“Renamed drone folder in file system, selected new drone folder in Sonarr GUI, changed interval to ten minutes. Cleared logs, exited Sonarr, restarted Sonarr. Went to Wanted and clicked Rescan Drone Folder. At the bottom right, a pop-up says “[downloadedepisodescan] completed” immediately after clicking the rescan button. No change in any logs whatsoever.”

I will try using manual import, but a drone folder is MUCH easier to use - I have something I want imported, I throw it in that folder and viola, solved. Manual import requires GUI interaction, does it not?

Because debug logging is not enabled (so only some startup messages are logged).

It does, but it means you don’t need to copy/move it to a specific folder and can import files that aren’t named in a way that Sonarr can’t pick them up (either folder or file is named so Sonarr can’t find the series or season).

Drone Factory is considered deprecated and will be removed in v3 as its the legacy import method. It will still be possible to create a drone factory like setup using a scheduled task/cron job calling an API endpoint in Sonarr.

I stand corrected on the logs - I could’ve sworn that I had debug logging turned on. Must’ve gotten reset when I reinstalled to resolve another, unrelated issue.

I’ll just do it the old fashioned way, then. You can consider this closed.
