Hello, I am very confused by the Drone Factory option and renaming and sorting.
I use the version develop branch 2977 with NZBget as downloader. NZBget downloads to /Incomplete and when done moves it to /Completed. as the category is Series, the series will end up in /Completed/Series/etc. My TVseries are configured with path: TVseries.
I first used postprocessing with videosort, and it renamed nicely and moved shows to TVseries. Sonarr would keep downloading versions though. I think it has to do with videosort, so as to keep the config as simple as possible,and because sonarr is able to rename and sort I removed the videosort post processing.
Sonarr now downloads versions nicely but does not do renaming/sorting and moving to the TVseries folder. my Drone Factory Option says /Completed. Completed Download Handling option is enabled, Removed is no, Failed Download Handling option Redownload is yes, Remove is yes. I tried to change the folder to one that NZBget is NOT downloading to, but sonarr changes it back to the /Completed.
Under system health no issues are found.
The files are downloaded and after some time they show up under activity. In the series these files are shown as still downloading. NZBget has them in history as finished.

Can someone help me point out what I do wrong (or misunderstand)?

Edit: have tried option force import, and Sonarr status is: Intermediate Download path inside drone factory, Skipping.
So I guess the issue is with the Drone factory folder not being correct. will try if i can get that “default” out and change /Completed to /Manual. Tried it before, and it changed back to /Completed but will give it some more tries this time.
Edit2: ok getting there. Drone factory is now persistently changed to /Manual. Have a large queue that I can not force import, due to the fact that videosort has moved them already. The few I have renamed with Sonarr seem to force import now correct. The lower quality ones are NOT deleted though… will need to investigate further… Sonarr says they are not an upgrade, which is correct, but i would not expect them to reappear in the queue and stay on disk?

Since they were imported by another process (not Sonarr) they will remain in the queue and Sonarr won’t remove them (it won’t remove them unless it imports something).

There are a couple things you could do:

  • Use a different category for nzbget (Sonarr won’t track the old category)
  • Hide (delete) from nzbget history

In both cases you will need to clean up the files on disk manually though (unless nzbget removes them when removing from its history).

Thanks for your response. Busy cleaning up the queue. Soem of the files sonarr missed for import, but those I now put in the Drone Factory (/Manual) and do a rescan. They are then properly registered, moved and the target folder (/Completed) gets cleaned of lower quality files. All good sofar. Hope that new downloads will from now on go well. Looks promising though! Thanks for this nice program!

Edit: all seems well now. Now only have to figure a way to name the subliminal subs the same
