I am new to Sonarr and start to like it a lot, coming from sickbeard. I use SABNZB (still with the sickbeard category, but works OK. Some files I can’t get on usenet, I download from torrent. One such series I copied 12 episodes to the Drone Fact. folder. The import does work, but very very slow! (I’m talking hours here).
This must have a reason somewhere, can you please help?

Are you copying to a remote location? The operation will be a move, same disk/same share or a copy, if its a copy on a slow network it can take a long time, hours if its over the internet.
No, the files are copied to my QNAP NAS on a giga bit network.

Check your network, if Sonarr is copying back and forth to the QNAP it will be slower than a move or copy since it copies the data twice. Either way there isn’t anything Sonarr does to throttle the transfer, also make sure you’re on the latest version of Sonarr.
