I’ve been using sonarr for awhile and lately run into this issue where I get series downloads that won’t import. I’ve researched users with the same issue but there doesn’t seem to be any consistency why specific episodes won’t import with mine. Other downloads from the same series import fine, while periodic ones won’t and sit in the completed drone folder.
The latest is ‘playing house’ (wifes). The first season ran fine, but the second has had consistent issues.
Everything is run via usenet with Sab or Nzbget (tested both, downloader doesn’t seem to be the issue). Any help would be hugely appreciated.
On Mac 10.4 log here
Check the permissions on the /Volumes/Plex_Media/TV/Playing House/Season 02/ directory.
The logs show that there is a path or permission error.
Is the destination on the same machine or on for example a NAS?
If it’s hit and miss for the same series, it might be due to the fact that from time to time you connect to the external device gaining authorized access until the next reboot.
P.s. are you using the drone factory folder? Both download agents are API supported, so it’s better to let the API handle it. Don’t use both, in other words, don’t have the completed downloads end up in the drone factory folder. Otherwise, there might be conflicts.
Hey thanks a lot! I missed that going through the logs.
I have the drone factory folder setup for use in one-offs (manual usenet searches through another program). everything from sonarr drops into completed downloads. Think it’s best to still unload the factory folder?
Update- that did the trick. thanks a lot for the help.
As far as I remember reading, the drone factory directory functionallity will be removed in future releases. Manual importing will be the preferred way.
