Description of issue: Hello,
I have an issue.
My automatic download don’t works.
I read the FAQ.
I guess it"s a problem on the RSS feed, but i’m note 100% sure…

I follow this serie : “Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs”
When i search manuly, i found releases compatible on nyaa torrent

No trace in the debug log too

So, the bug is in the RSS feed on NYAA side ?

Okay, so that simply means it was either never on your list of new uploads to Nyaa via rss or was rejected at that time as it does not meet requirements

Trace logs do not exist in debug logs, not sure why one would think they do?

Looking at the RSS feed now has no relevance to what it was in the past. That also isn’t necessarily what is returned to sonarr.

Without debug or trace logs of the release showing on the rss query and sonarr rejecting it, there’s no action to take nor issue to solve.

What’s your RSS interval set through and do you have any warnings in events that a search is required?

Don’t do any searching on Nyaa as they have an unknown arbitrarily limit, think automation is stupid, and permanently ban IPs if you search and breech their limit.

To clarify, I don’t want to have old episodes, but I was watching for new ones that hadn’t arrived yet.

I saw the episode was available on nyaa, but looking at nyaa’s RSS at the same time, I couldn’t find it, so I guess the RSS wasn’t complete.

I don’t search épisodes in the past.

Hi,

Same issue here with folllowing series (all french) :

  • Demain nous appartient.
  • Ici tout commence.
  • HPI.

These series are followed as others, but for these 3 series, sonarr is not able to download automatically new episodes.

I have no issues with others series like :

  • Obi-Wan
  • Moon Knight
  • 9-1-1
    etc…

Settings are same for all of them (profile/quality/indexers) and all of these series are followed in the same way.

For these 3 series where I have this issue, I can see :

  • Download does not start automatically.
  • Manual search (human icon) find episodes who has not been downloaded automatically.
  • Automatic search (search icon) find episodes who has not been downloaded automatically and add them to transmission.

Interval tested : 15mn / 30mn / 60mn

About link sent :
1/ I used interval 15/30/60 and I have this issue with new episodes. Search by clicking on automatic/manual search on sonarr works. Automatic seach without use these buttons does not work.
2/ As explained, settings are same for all my series
3/ I want to find new episodes, not episodes uploaded in the past
4/ I don’t want to search episodes by clicking on one of these icons.
5/ It’s not the case.

The problem is still present, the logs said ok, but the download don’t start.

Release accepted means it should be grabbed unless there was a better release for the same episode that superseded that release (which would have also been accepted).

The only reason nothing would be grabbed at that point would be the lack of an appropriate download client, it failed to grab it or it failed to communicate with the download client, all of which would result in errors later in the logs).

I have Generali 1, 2, 3 or 4 possible Accepted releases, but it’s the same situation…

It’s not a problèm with transmission, no error log After…

And when i launch a search manualy, it’s grabed directly, and transmission begins the download…

It’s the same situation for all my séries…

These logs are for a search, not for an RSS Sync, so even if the actual grab was logged it’s irrelevant because it’s a search. We’ll need to see logs of an RSS Sync where there is an accepted release through to the end of the RSS Sync.
