How does nzbdrone handle missing episodes? On the missing sections I have episodes that are several months old. How do I download only missing episodes aired starting from today?

I’m searching for an episode that just aired yesterday and I’m getting this error:
Failed to get response from: http://nzbclub.com/api?t=tvsearch&cat=5030,5040&extended=1 The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
Sounds like you don’t have club input correctly.
I use NzbMegaSearch to aggregate all my providers, and it’s a ‘built in’ for it, so I don’t know how you’d list it as a NewsNab site.
So if I add NzbMegaSearch, I can remove all the other indexers?

https://github.com/NzbDrone/NzbDrone/wiki/FAQ#how-does-nzbdrone-find-new-episodes - I don’t get your second part of the question, an episode isn’t considered missing until it has aired, if you want to ignore any past air episode you would need to unmonitor those episodes, or easier, use Season Pass to ignore earlier seasons of shows

nzbclub is not a newznab compliant API, you shouldn’t even be able to add it, but regardless you will need to find a newznab based site to use.
@tymanthius MegaSearch supports nzbclub? We used to, but it would always throw back errors (50% of the time or more).

I was just wondering how it downloads missing episodes. It downloaded some shows and not others. As you mentioned, I guess it’s because of nzbclub.
Are there any public indexers you recommend like it?
Drone doesn’t search for missing episodes actively, you would need to search for them. You could try https://oznzb.com - not a lot of free sites, but its worth $10/year for a good site or two.
EDIT: Elaborated on how drone finds episodes in the FAQ a bit.
