Downloaded, but Corrupt Video Header Handling

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5228
OS: Win10

Description of issue:

  1. Sonarr and SABnzbd are pretty much working 99% of the time perfectly.
  2. Every so often SABnzbd downloads a file and drops it into the COMPLETED folder, and it considers the file complete, as it passes Post-Processing. - All good, working as supposed to, and extracted fine.
  3. The file is however corrupt, and the expected video file seems to have data, but incorrect headers or info. An inspection with MediaInfo shows no video information, and therefore it’s not a valid video file.
  4. Sonarr will not import the file, or delete it, and it remains in the SABnzbd COMPLETED folder.
  5. PROBLEM: The file shows the 100% purple bar with ‘Episode is Downloading - 100%’ indefinitely.

No further attempts are made to get another version of the file, and there doesn’t seem to be a manual way to get Sonarr to flag the file as ‘bad’ and go find another version.

Any solutions ?

What does Sonarr show in Activity: Queue?
What do debug/trace logs show when trying to import?

You can remove and blacklist a release that hasn’t imported yet from Activity: Queue or blacklist the release from history (through the grab event).
