Description of issue: I configured Sonarr with Sabnzbd yesterday afternoon using the latest stable software versions. Sabnzbd tested ok and my Indexer also was ok. I left it running all day and night and the shows I selected aren’t downloaded unless I click on “automatically search” . What’s the trick to have Sonarr automatically downloaded the shows I tagged as monitored without me having to run the auto search option?
sonarr is programmed to find things via the RSS feeds, the auto and manual searching is for humans.
sonarr is not going to go off and find all the previous seasons/episodes of a show you just added - it will download them if someone re-uploads them again and they end up on the RSS feeds from the indexers being monitored
essentially it should download all the stuff that is being uploaded now, and you need to do the backfill
