Downgrade episodes after delay

Hi

Have trawled the forums and cant find an answer for the specific problem I’m looking to sort.

I have alot of TV shows all of which I watch new episodes of within a week or two of release.

I would like to set it up so that I download all new episodes in some form of 720p and after a month or so re-download in SD, sort of like an archive, so I can keep everything but get a new torrent or usenet file that is much smaller overall.

Not a huge biggy if this process cant be automated, would just be cool to be able to do it :slight_smile:

Am I missing some obvious logic to do with the delays that would sort this with minimal faff?

You could go HD to DVD quite easily since they don’t get released at the same time, but HD to SD would be manual, since they are released around the same time (usually SD first).
