Suppose if I were to download a episode and it fails and I try again the same release ( and fails again ) Drone marks the release as tried to many times.
Now, if a repost was posted drone doesn’t download the repost thinking its the same release and that it will fail again.
If maybe drone could realise its a repost and try downloading it maybe based on Age of post it would be very helpful
It does use the age, but because every indexer doesn’t report the same posting time drone needs to approximate the date it uses. If a repost is made the same day with the exact same name then it will get treated as the same release. Many reposts are posted with -RP at the end, which will avoid the issue.
But,
Today the Mentalist S04 DVDRIP repost was uploaded with the same name as original and no -RP.
Drone thought it was the same release and on manual search it said release tried to many times.
Sorry, but no logs deleted it by mistake.
