What would you think of having the ability for NzbDrone to remove previous season files when it moves into a new season? This could be set for each TV show and/or globally. Maybe have the system only remove the files when the new seasons’ first episode has been confirmed to be retrieved.
Just a thought.
I’m generally not a big fan of automatically deleting things since there are many things that could go wrong, however I would be ok with some sort of UI where you could do stuff like this easier.
Cool! I am actually excited and awaiting to see how nzbdrone grows. I like SickBeard and it definitely provided me with good service for quite a long while but Nzbdrone just keeps me wanting and looking for more. I just love the speed of this thing in comparison.

I’m with @kayone - automatically deleting things scares me, because I know it will be mis-configured and people will lose data, but I think NzbDrone is really going down the media management path and being able to delete files via the UI would be a key thing to have.

PS if you think its fast now, just wait for the next version 
I did see where one could delete the tv show files and folder but I was thinking something more automated but if you feel this is not a good idea, well, I understand. I was thinking just easier ways to manage these things, as I know you do.
As for the next version, now you have me eagerly awaiting. Since I am a Windows Server user, I do love the way it handles it now. Looking forward to it!!
