Delay Profiles - Prefer Usenet

Unfortunately another silly question concerning delay profiles…

I currently have the default delay profile to: “Prefer Usenet, No delay, Torrent delay: 120 minutes”. For whatever reason, I don’t see it waiting for torrents.

Now, from what I understand, the delay profile works as such: if sonarr finds the requested quality for a show then this default profile has no effect and it will immediately grab what’s available, correct? Not quite the required behavior I would like - a simple outright wait for torrents regardless of qualities…

However, if I create a new delay profile, on top of the default, assign a tag, say “delay” and give the desired shows this tag, then I should get the desired effect?

No, it will only grab the file if it’s the top most wanted quality from the preferred protocol. It’s based on the age of the release, not when Sonarr first sees it and doesn’t apply to searches.

I’m assuming sonarr doesn’t differentiate between in-built torrent trackers verses those configured through jackett?

No difference. It needs to be added as Torznab, not Newznab, but trying the latter will throw an error at some point.

Debug logs will show the decisions made for each release as they are processed.
