Connect to trakt and plex

I’am not sure of the use of the connect feature (to the other world)

in my case i have set up connection to plex and trakt tv. both tested.
If i understand the purpose of this feature, sonarr gets info from plex for watched and/or deleted episodes. it marks as info received. then sonnar gives the info to trakt.

is this done in real time or on scheduled tasks?
in my case nothing happen.
i am not running sonarr in docker, my nas don’t have docker in the package center and i am not enough good with computer to have installed d

Your understanding is incorrect.

Connecting to Plex tells Plex that a file has been imported.
Connecting to Trakt tells Trakt that you have a file in your collection.

Sonarr does not bridge between Plex and Trakt.
