Sorry if this is a naive or previously asked question (I tried to search for it, but didn’t find anything)… I am using the ‘Completed Download Handling’ on sonarr with my usenet download client. It works perfectly… except I would like to keep the original downloaded file in the download location. I want sonarr to copy the file instead of moving it during the auto-reprocessing. Does this feature already exist?
No, Sonarr will move unless it’s a seeding torrent. We do not have plans to support copying in this scenario.
Thanks for the quick reply! Sounds like there is no point in me requesting this then? My use case is that I usually watch most videos from my computer, and the easiest way for me to see new episodes have been downloaded is by looking at my download folder.
It’s not something we plan to support. Any media center app (Plex, Kodi, Emby, etc) should be able to tell you what was recently added without having to maintain duplicate copies.
Activity > History in Sonarr will also give you what you’re looking for.
