Complete noob needs some help please :(

Hi all,

I am new to the forums and new to Sonarr and managed downloads  I need some help setting things up.

I have followed the guides on cutting cords up to a point. I have registered for indexing and i have added deluge and configured it.

I have added series to download but nothing is happening?

i have no idea where to even start trying to fix the problem.

Any help will be appreciated

See here to understand why sonarr is ‘not doing anything’: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/FAQ#how-does-sonarr-find-episodes

Try a manual search for an episode to confirm everything is set up correctly. You should get a list with results, with one or more without a red exclamation mark. If all have a mark, hover over them to see why sonarr rejects that particular download. Adjust settings & repeat

check with manual search and click on “send to download queue” to see if your indexers are working.
Also you can post your “calendar” section of sonarr so to see what is going with the releases

Hi All

After a long week of struggling i have managed to get it downloading

Last question

My wife loves the series chopped. there are a few episodes that say aired last week but i cant seem to find them when i do the search.

Is it common?

Since you haven’t specified any details of what Indexers you’re using, for instance, there’s only a point up to which I can help, but from what I can see, 26x04 is the last aired episode of Chopped so far, and on Kickass Torrents, I see torrents all the way up to 26x04 (https://kat.cr/usearch/chopped/)

So if Kickass is one of your indexers, and your Sonarr is set up correctly, it should work.

Add Kickass to your indexers if its not, and do a Manual Search and see what happens.

Hope that helps.

iirc Chopped is one of those series that’s truly messy when it comes to hdtv numbering, webdl numbering and tvdb numbering.
You’re probably better off grabbing it all manually to make sure the wife gets the right episode at the right time
