Description of issue:

Hi Guys
I have been using Sonarr on my mac tried to get it to open on start up but had a problem with the playlist and automator method mainly because I am not very good with computers.I am wondering is there something I can write in terminal to start sonarr.I have tried cd sonarr.app and cd nzbdrone which is opening but when I go to localhost i get server can’t be found.
Please please help

You don’t need to use a plist or automator to start it, just double Sonarr.app. If you want to start it with your system use startup/login items.

If you’re still having issues take a look at the logs.

Hi Markus thanks a million for the reply when I click on the sonnar app nothing is happening I have taken a screen shot of my log I have no idea what they mean thanks again

When you run Sonarr.app it will run in the background and then you can open up the browser. Not sure hat logs those are, but they’re not Sonarr’s logs. Sonarr will not run multiple times, so your logs may be showing it exiting because its already running. Activity monitor should show, Sonarr, NzbDrone or mono running.

Hi Markus I have double clicked on app and nothing happens in browser I have also tried going to terminal and cd sooner.app but no luck.Sorry for my ignorance I have another computer and sonnar is working where can I find my logs.Is there any chance I can give you remote access to my computer sorry don’t want to sound cheeky I just love sonnar and I am lost without it

Willing to donate for any help thanks

What happens if you type “http://localhost:8989/” (no quotes) in to the address bar of your browser?
