Color deficiency friendly color scheme? or layout ideas

So on the main sonarr page it says how many episodes out of the total you have in your library. When I go to a show page with a few missing episodes, I had to click “Show Episodes” for each season until I found the season that had the episodes that I wanted to search for.

Then I happened to mouse-over the dot next to the season name and see that it said, “X/Y Episodes Downloaded”! This got me to notice that the color of the dot was slightly different than the dot for seasons with all the episodes downloaded, something that my color deficiency eyes did not detect.

So I’m wondering, would it be possible to change the color of the dot? OR perhaps, have something akin to the “X/Y” count on the overall Series page for each season on the specific series page in place of the dot?

Thanks!

Originally we had a progress bar there (like the home page), but it looked pretty awful, so we switch it to the coloured dot (red, green, or blue), currently it doesn’t follow the same colours that we use on the series page, which is a bit awkward as well.

I’ve added it to [Trello] (https://trello.com/c/N44AXgZ2/836-rethink-the-coloured-dot-indicator-on-series-details) though this might not see any movement for some time as we need to think about how we want to change it.

gotcha, what about a simple change, like a symbol inside the dot to help differentiate? Like the triangular “!” inside the dot to denote “missing episodes”?

Yeah, thats a good idea. Updated Trello with the suggestion.
