Check For Finished Download - Hanging

Hi,
Ubuntu - 14.04
Downgraded to 46 due to kernel crashing problem
Sonarr - 2.0.0.3077

Problem: Sometimes (I see no reason or time scale) the process to “Check for Finished Downloads” seems to hang.

I’ll notice that there is a TV episode (always different ones) still in the activity tab and it is showing around 10% completed BUT Nzbget has finished the download hours ago and the downloaded file is correctly waiting in my Nzbget completed TV download folder.

On the tasks tab in Sonarr the “Check For Finished Download” which is supposed to run every minute shows a last run time of say 6 hours and the 2 little arrows are just spinning.

I just hit the restart button and it then processes the download.

I have looked at the logs and can’t find any mention of “Check For Finished Download” - not sure this is logged or debug needs to be turned on. It happens so infrequently that I did not want to turn debug on.

This happens around once a week but always with different episodes and at different times.

Any idea how to trace this fault?

Are other tasks running or are they all hung?

Two possible causes that come to mind, the job thread running Check for Finished Downloads died and left it in limbo or they all died and nothing is running, neither is ideal and both would have similar causes.
