Sonarr version: 2.0.0.4326
OS: Windows server 2012 r2 VM on esxi 6.0
Debug logs:

Issue:
I used sonarr for a long time and always had a utorrent client om my windows server 2012 r2 vm. But i decided to move the utorrent client over to a windows 7 VM, but when i download a torrent it add’s the torrent, starts and completes, but i can’t see activity in sonarr, and when it’s done it just does nothing other than seeding on it, well because it can’t see when the torrent is finished. when i go into the download client settings and add the client and press test, it is succeeded.

Is completed download handling enabled? Based on the logs it appears it is not.

You’ll probably also need to setup a remote path mapping to let Sonarr know to actually know where to import the files from.

Done that.
However i am not sure my remote path mapping is correct.

Just now?

Without seeing logs that show an attempted import I can’t say for sure, depends how things are mounted and how Sonarr is running (if it’s a service you can’t use a mapped network drive).

no it has always been enabled since the day i started using sonarr.
And it is running as a service, and i am using mapped drives, so should i start as a program and not a service? or how should i do?

Are things in the correct category in uTorrent?

The ((FAQ)) lists a couple options.

yes they are in the right category.
I tried to use UNC paths so (\server\TVShows) and restarted sonarr and now i can see the activity, progress.
But when it finished downloading it just says “no files found are eligible for import in (and the shows the path to the file)”

Likely a problem with your remote path mapping.
Is the path local to the system running uTorrent or Sonarr?
Make sure the local path for the remote path mapping is local to Sonarr and the remote path is the path uTorrent reports (minus the specific job folder name).

The host is the ip, is the one the utorrent client is on.
The remote path is the path that my utorrent client puts the tv series in when they are being downloaded
The local path is the path that they should be copied to when they are finished downloading

That’s not correct.

The Remote path needs to be the path where uTorrent puts them locally and the local path needs to be the path that Sonarr can use to access those files. The error message will show the remote path you need to use and your current remote path should be the local path.

Sonarr already knows where to copy the files as that’s set on the series.

i have set utorrent to put them in the network path (192.168.0.3\Film) AKA G:\ so that they are not on the machine itself but on the HDD in my server. But will that work

If uTorrent is reporting the same path that Sonarr can access directly (using the same path name), a remote path mapping is not required.

That’s also my tought, it is just a folder on my server i shared, and then said to utorrent to throw the torrents in that shared folder, so that i could make the windows 7 machine as small as possible. So sonarr can reach the folder easily

Edit: i found out that it was only one NCIS episode it couldn’t do the download handling with, it was the only one i tetsted yesterday. When i looked at my plex server here in the morning it had downloaded the episodes and copyed them and renamed them, and i had deleted my remote path mapping, and it still worked.

so thanks for the fast response and help
