Can't remember how

I had a complete computer meltdown and am trying to recover. I currently have sabnzbd, sonarr, and transmission up and running. My problem is that sabnzbd is downloading stuff but its not getting transferred to its final place and I can’t remember how I made it do that. I have gone over the setup for sonarr and sabnzbd to exhaustion so I think I need somebody to suggest to me what to read or how to do it.

Thank you…

Version
2.0.0.4645
Mono Version
4.2.3
AppData directory
/home/greg/.config/NzbDrone
Startup directory
/opt/NzbDrone

Check the logs… specifically ((debug logs)).

thanks for the reply…

I did as you asked and found stuff (it couldn’t find files, etc) I can’t figure out where to set that stuff. I have spent hours trying to find the configuration file so I can take a look at what I have set (as I, obviously, have) If you could just tell me the name I could find and fix it. Right now I just started changing file names but to actually fix it would be better I think?

Thank you…

The name of what?

Where to find the logs files are mentioned in the link I provided also in the (in the AppData directory you posted above). The config file and database are in that same folder, but I’m not sure what you’re looking for, the logs will tell you why things aren’t importing and from there we can figure out what you actually need to do.

You are right. I will do that. What I wanted to do is to find where I put the disk locations and change that. I thought that finding the file that holds the settings would be easier to deal with since I am having problems finding some of this stuff. The only file that looks even vaguely like a configuration file is the config.xml file which holds nothing that I am looking for. What is the name of the file?

Locations for what?

Sonarr gets the path to import from via the download client’s API, the series location is set when adding the series (series editor will show them all in one place). The only other thing is Remote Path Mappings, but you don’t need that if SAB and Sonarr are on the same machine.

That is the name of the only configuration file, everything else is stored in the database.

Look at the ((debug logs))/post them in you want us to look. Without them we’re not going to get anywhere and we can’t help you.

I continue to think my settings for downloaded files is a problem. In sabnzbd my folder definitions:
/home/greg/video/complete
/home/greg/video/incomplete

I am storing my media (for use) in: /mnt/data/TV and I have no idea how to tell anybody that is where I want the finished goods. Sab thinks its done when it puts them into the /home/greg/video/complete. My problem with it all is that I have been physically moving the files to /mnt/data/TV because of disk space on the main drive.

I have noticed, in Sonarr, that, in settings/download client/, that there are little titles “host”, “remote path”, local path". I can’t find any reference to those (been reading so much I may have missed it). I suspect, however, that this may have something to do with my problem.

My other problem is that I lost a LOT of stuff. I had over 80 shows I was tracking and many downloaded over the years and never watched. Now, however, sonarr is ignoring all the missing files that I lost and I am having problems getting it to get the files. I have had it update the library, scan the library, update a specific series, etc. and not a single thing I have done has changed anything. Evidently I will have to download everything by hand. I suspect this is held over from when I told it to ignore deleted files although I have changed that but it made no difference. Sonarr thinks all the files are still there. If I could just figure out how to change the season status on files it thinks are still there it would help.

Oh, at the beginning of the help thing there is a link to a new sonarr documentation - its broke.

Sorry for all of this - I am trying …
