My XBMC and Drone are on different PCs so I wouldn’t be able to do that. Turning off the UN/PW has let me get XBMC updated with notification again. Not sure why it was doing it, but with no errors its impossible to debug exactly what the cause was.
Latest develop will have the response from XBMC logged at the Debug level, assuming its getting one.
For me, the issue is related to the password field.
If I leave the XBMC Web Server password field blank (and still have a username defined), notifications are sent to XBMC.
Also, I have XBMC and NzbDrone on the same machine. And, I got the same results when using localhost or 127.0.0.1

Hi I Just installed Sonarr on my iMac running Yosemite after switching from Sickbeard.
I am having the same problem, I cannot connect to xvmc/kodi. I have no password or username set.
The Error I am getting is:
Unable to send test message: Verion received from XBMC is invalid, please correct your settings.: Verion received from XBMC is invalid, please correct your settings.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
