i have just installed version 2 and it has installed 8 series but i have tried to add another i click on add series it finds what i want but when i click add it says
[post]Bad Request :/api/series.
what am i doing wrong, i have a few more to add but i have tried these also with the same result.
Is there a server side error in the logs during the same time? Have you selected a path for that series?
The server seems to be rejecting the addition of the new series for some reason, possibly due to missing data.
there are quite a few errors, what am i looking for, i have even tried to copy the path for a series that works but taken the name off and added the new one i want, this time it comes up with a root error,i cant understand why the others work but not any new ones
Are they existing series on disk? YOu will need to add one recent (root) folder that contains all your series and then when you select it it will search for all the series in that folder. You don’t need to enter the full path for a series, just its parent folder.
Example:
All my TV shows are in T:\
I add a recent folder for T:\
It then lists all my shows and I add them one by one.
EDIT: Jump on IRC if you can, it will likely be faster.
i cant put the back slash in and mine are in d:/complete/tv but all i get is Invalid Path
looks like the keyboard is playing up anyway done a copy and paste of the net to get the backslash and still nothing a internal error is what i get
this is what it says
[POST] Internal Server Error : /api/rootfolder
Windows paths require backslashes, which is why you get the Invalid Path error.
At this point you should clear you log files from C:\ProgramData\zbDrone\logs and try adding the recent folder again. Then check the log file for an error. The error is happening on the server, thats just the client side error, which doesn’t have enough data in it.
no still wont work cleared the log file, put in D:\complete but get invalid path
Are you running as a service? and is D:\ a mapped network drive? If so: https://github.com/NzbDrone/NzbDrone/wiki/FAQ#why-cant-nzbdrone-see-my-files-on-a-remote-server
If you just started running as a service it would explain why you were able to add some shows, but not these other ones.
very strange i have just stopped the program in the task manager then started it again put the d:\complete folder and its now found everything, i did nothing different but its working!!!
Might be in how it was running (service), but glad its working.
just tried to get a random series that i can see in nzb.su it found the series when i add it but wont download it
[GET] Not Found : /api/series/what-remains.
thats what it tell me
What do you mean it won’t download it? How are you trying to add it?
think iam looking in the wrong place to download back episodes, i have just had a mess and where i thought i was downloading is accually looking for the episodes that are already on the pc i think, how do you get the nzbs (download) the missing episodes
You need to search for missing episodes manually, drone doesn’t search for them automatically. You can search for a whole series, a season or a just an individual episode.
ok thanks will try that and get back to you, i think iam getting the hang of it now
