Cancelled vs Ended vs End of Season

Is there a better way to distinguish between the multiple ways a show has been ended? IE: Cancelled shows show up as “Ended” and some shows that at just waiting for the next season are “Ended” as well. I’m looking for a way to purge some of my shows to free up some space by getting rid of some cancelled series or series that have ended but Ive watched all the episodes of.

I haven’t seen an instance of a show getting a next season and listed as Ended (unless it was originally cancelled and then picked up by another network or they changed their minds), Arrested Development or East Bound and Down are examples of this. If you do see some like this you can fix it on thetvdb and it will flow down to drone once trakt picks it up.

As for Ended vs Cancelled, technically they’re all cancelled in the end  But tvdb and trakt don’t differentiate between them, they just treat them all as ended, so we can’t really either.

@bakes82 Here is what I do.

I have Drone move episodes into /media/tv//.

Anytime I have more than 1 season folder, I delete the old season, with a few exceptions of things I’m not caught up on. As I use Plex as my video server & player, it’s also fairly easy to see what I’m caught up on and what I’m not.

Hope that helps you.
