The absolute episode number needs to be added to TVDB then make its way down to Sonarr (TVDB cache + Sonarr’s cache will prevent it from happening immediately).
What does it mean “the absolute episode number”? I have seen on that website complete list of episodes…
Also, when i try to pull “information” for a single episode, it fails with the same error message.
Why would pulling single episode, with description etc require the “the absolute episode number”?
Also, editing this particular entry on the thetvdb.com has been blocked by an admin - so how to update it?
Is that tcdb reliable at all?
TheTVDB is a lot more reliable than its peers, but they have rules, if those rules are broken repeatedly for a series they will lock it and require their administrators to update it. If its a special episode its unlikely there is an absolute episode number, otherwise you’ll need to ask on their forums for the series to be updated.
indeed you are correct. I failed . seems like i added one anime a week or two ago, where the option was kept as anime. thus the 20 odd normal shows i added today was added as anime and not standard
doesn’t seem like there is an easy way to find all anime’s and verify if they are really anime or not (eg not under series editor)
. Even the normal show view doesnt indicate the fact (except for the absolute brackets next to the episode numbers)
