For the past 3 days I have not been able to log into the drone GUI, I receive the prompt for my credentials and then red dotted error in the bottom corner displaying, require.js: 138 [object Object]
I noticed about three days ago, I was receiving a “disk access error,” in which i made room on the drive in question, restarted the service from the web gui, and proceeded to use nzbdrone as normal, once I logged out, this then became my issue. It is definitely still running and acquiring new episodes but I can no longer get past the loading screen with the 4 dots, to alter and access anything.
I have attempted restarting the service (it was originally installed as an administrator, and has worked beautifully for the past several months).
I have attempted restarting the server.
I have attempted clear my cache and temp files for IE11.
I have attempted using another browser, Chrome.
I have my NzbDrone setup to be access from other workstations both local and outside my network, they access the page and get to the point of credentials, but hang at the loading screen with the same error.
I have Windows 7 64-bit system, which as of 3 days ago was on the latest version of NzbDrone.
Any information, or relative assistance would be appreciated and helpful.
Thanks,
Chase
At this point I would suggest re-installing drone (uninstall then install again). The configuration should remain untouched, but you can back it up first: https://github.com/NzbDrone/NzbDrone/wiki/Backup-and-Restore
I just tried what you suggested, completed service uninstall, renamed nzbdrone folder (as I was and have been using a pre windows installer version), made a backup of the programdata folder, downloaded and installed the latest install file. It kept my configuration, so it presented me with my credentials upon opening the web gui and then hangs at the exact same point after with the require.js error.
Could you try uninstalling the drone (add/remove programs), renaming C:\\ProgramData\zbDrone
to something else and reinstalling the service from the old location, and then starting drone? I want to see if something in the configuration is causing issues.
This will remove all your settings and start fresh, but its a starting point since we seem to ruled out the application being the culprit.
Per what you suggested, it opened correctly, and is now asking me to walk through the setup/ add series process. Should I attempt to just stop the service and transfer my data back into the newly created ProgramData folder? Also, thank for assisting me, I apologize for not putting that in my previous message.
I attempted to copy my config, logs(55mb), nzbdrone(12mb), and media cover files to the newly created programdata folder, with the service stopped. I started service back up, it prompted me for my credintials, and then produced the previous error again (require.js: 138). On a side note, I noted in the programdata folder to files were created once I attempted to open the web gui, a nzbdrone.db-shm (96k) and nzbdrone.db-wal (13mb).
Happy to help, looks like we’re getting somewhere. The two extra files are normal (how the DB operates, nothing to worry about).
Could you zip up nzbdrone.db and PM me a link to download it (dropbox, mega, etc can be used to send it).
