I am doing a new installation. I installed 3.? I suspect I should have installed v4? Anyway, I have found that I have a bunch of backups from another installation that comes from a system I blew up. Is it possible to use one of these backups? This, I suspect would REALLY help me.
The problem is:
Error opening file /media/greg/93f19c15-aba5-4b0d-a313-68d6e54522de/var/lib/sonarr/Backups/scheduled/sonarr_backup_v3.0.10.1567_2024.09.28_17.43.14.zip: Input/output error
I cannot move it from the file in which it resides and I also cannot open it (there are a number of them but are the same)
I have found a pile of sonarr files from my old installation.
Some I can open and some I cannot. I would be interested in any that might help my quest.
I have found some backups, ie:
/media/greg/purple 1/sonarr_backup_v3.0.10.1566_2023.09.19_16.32.26
I was also, I think, able to open it. It had only 2 things in it:
config.xml
sonarr.db
So, I am not sure its any good. If so I might be able to use it.
I also tried to download a photo of what happens when I cannot open a sonarr file. I have a question about that. Is there any file that might tell me how its setup? I think there is one but I cannot remember. If I can find something that can tell me then I can set up this the same way as it worked for years.
Those are the only 2 files needed. If you can extract them, stop sonarr, copy those files to the root of your sonarr install dir (you should have the same files already there. Copy those off somewhere else and replace them with the files from your zip file.) Restart sonarr.
Forgot to mention. I do not have a root folder. I have not mentioned where its at except for sonarr but it makes no difference. Just tells me it doesn’t exist.
I still don’t have a root folder but am working on it.
I now have sabnzbd+ running in that I can download a movie, etc. I suspect this also fixes ubuntu insofar as sonarr is concerned.
Now I am getting ready to deal with the indexers. I have a real problem with this one in that I have forgotten where to get the information from my supplies like nzbgeek. I go there, log in, but now I need info, like their url and I cannot find it. I know, no problem, but my mind has forgotten - sorry.
API info for your indexer(s) is usually found within your profile after login, and they should have a dedicated API section that will have all the information you need (URL, API key etc.)
