Description of issue:
Hi guys,
I have a QNAP TS-451+ and have installed Sonarr. Everything is working fine (great app) but due to the scheduled Tasks, the HDD’s on the NAS won’t go into standby mode/spin down.
I’m wondering if anyone has been able to get around this?
Is it possible (and recommended) to install Sonarr on a flash drive instead of the NAS volume so the application runs from the flash drive and writes logs to that location as well? If it can be done, assuming that would limit any Tasks reading the HDD’s.
Thanks
Probably best to reach out to the maintainer of the QSonarr package on the QNAP forums to ask, it would likely involve altering the package (or having an option for where to store the app data).
Ok thanks, I’ll ask the question.
