I recently added ‘Blood & Oil’ (ABC) to the Sonarr, however, both automatic and manual will not pick up the episode due to the &. Is there a way to add an alias such as ‘Blood and Oil’ to grab those episodes?
Its not the &
thats automatically handled by Sonarr.
It’s likely the TVRage ID, since TVRage went down most indexers didn’t link those releases to the TVRage ID so searches fail. You’ll need to manually grab that one and set the proper category so Sonarr can’t import it.
I concur.
Rarbg (tvdb) and Kickass (name) are giving valid results. My newznab search isn’t due to the rageid issue, but the newznab rss feed picked it up (name).
With episode S01E03 I am not getting any valid results at the time. When I do manual search I see results but I can’t add it to my download queue. I get the following message “Unknown Series”. The issue seems to be that the serie is getting mismatched because some releases add “2015” in the name.
Would it be possible to add functionality that I can still download releases even if they are mismatched according to Sonarr? Sometimes I am a better judge of valid results than Sonarr Now that is impossible because the download button is simply not there.
Sonarr utilises thexem.de as a middleman for “mismatches”. You can ask Blood & oil to be added @ Join #xem on irc.freenode.net.
Will do thanks, question still remains why the download button got removed on manual search. When I truly manually add the torrent it was still picked correctly by Sonarr.
At the moment you can’t force a download of an unknown series. I believe it’s already on the request calendar, and will be enabled in a future version.
As for why there seem to be parsing differences, no idea…
It might be that the folder name is different then the filename.
