Blacklisted Episodes/Grace Period

I’m hoping i’m missing something here but i feel as if i’ve looked over everything at least a few times and done numerous searches on this forum, and come close to this problem but not quite.

This post is my problem - Problem with blacklisting on very new files
and i’m curious to know what solutions other people have come up with this?

Do you all set delays? Or is there a way to either, not have the episode blacklisted when it fails OR get back the feature that seems to have disappeared called “Grace period?”

I’m curious to know what everyone here is doing to help with this problem.

It defaults to 0, but you can change it, use the Minimum Age setting on Indexer settings:

Disabling blacklisting is not possible and the grace period was removed and replaced with Minimum Age.

Yeah i understand this. So i’m hoping the community can give me a good idea of what i should try to set this to. For reference, my usenet prov is astraweb. So i’m wondering if there is a common setting, such as “for astraweb its best to set this to a minimum of X minutes”.

It depends on your indexers (some are faster than others) as well as your providers.

Personally I use 20 minutes and that seems to be working well for me, but it will vary, the only way to know for sure is to test it out for your setup.
