BlackHole - Update Calendar when not using Drone Factory

I like having all of my tv downloads in one folder. I realize the majority of users don’t. This is pretty much impossible with Nzbdrone because it requires everything to be put into a sub folder.

I don’t care about renaming shows and getting the episode titles. Sabnzbd can handle that for me.

I tried using the BlackHole without Drone Factory and having Sabnzbd put downloads in my desired single folder. It works. The only problem is that Nzbdrone Calendar doesn’t update and reflect that the episode (NZB) was downloaded.

Is there a way for the Calendar to be updated when a show is downloaded using BlackHole without using Drone Factory, ect.? When the NZB is snatched, could the Calendar reflect that the episode was downloaded when using BlackHole? Could there be an optional toggle for this in the future?

Since you’re not using Completed Download Handling (CDH) drone won’t be looking at SAB to handle completed downloads, so drone doesn’t treat it as downloaded. It goes from downloading to unknown.

Does Nzbdrone have to KNOW if a download successfully completed in my situation? Just that the NZB has been snatched successfully? After a successful snatch (NZB), could the Calendar be updated to indicate the episode (NZB) has been downloaded? Could this be user select-able option with BlackHole? A warning could be given informing users if using this option, there is a risk of downloads might not have in fact downloaded. The user assumes the risk.

Thats what the trello card would do (at a high level anyways). There is a lot more than just flipping a switch though.
