I am a new user of the program so don’t know all the in and outs of the program
I balacklisted an episode by mistake, but now cannot get a new version of the same episode because he keeps saying balacklist how do I get the blacklist lock off so that I can bring in the same episode but a different version?

Blacklisting will only blacklist that release, not the entire episode. You can either remove it from the blacklist (Activity: Blacklist) or use Manual Search to search for it and pick the release you want.
If you unmonitored the episode you can monitor it again, but a search for a single episode will ignore the monitored status anyway so that likely isn’t the issue.
