Best way to run Sonarr on OS X?

1 - Open the archive and drag the Sonarr icon to your Application folder.
Open Sonarr from your application folder

involves making a plist and such.

If using option 1 can’t I just add it to my login startup items?

Is one better than the other? Right now I am using option 2

Yes you can, the wiki hasn’t been updated since the Sonarr.app was release.

Startup items is easier for most people, but there isn’t a reason to change away from #2 if you already set it up.

Well it seams that if I try and switch to the startup items method Sonarr will not run. So I guess I will stick to the plist method for now.
