When I add “BBC Documentaries” to NZBdrone it does find any episodes but they are listed on the index sites. Would it be possible to improve the logic of searching these types of programs.
This usually comes down to how they are named (name on indexer doesn’t match the name from tvdb) or how they are numbered (not using the standard SxxExx naming).
Maybe it can be improved, but thats a broad request, we’ll need concrete examples to consider it.
Looks like they’re using a S2014E234 format. I’ve never seen that before. But from the looks of it the episode number mentioned is an absolute number, so I guess it’s matchable.
“BBC Documentaries” is really just a hodgepodge of releases with no standardized format.
Most are posted with only the name, as if it’s a movie.
Search for 'Tulisa: The prince of fame" for example.
It’s gonna be real hard to do it via rss, maybe, just maybe, it’s possible via a pure title search.
But it feels to me like a whole lot of effort to support something like this.
