Description of issue:

Hello, I am having an issue with Sonarr (MacOS). Yesterday I was no longer able to connect to http://localhost:8989. I deleted sonarr and reinstalled everything while using my scheduled back up to restore it. It was up and running until this morning I noticed some of the shows were giving me a 404 error. I changed the option to create new empty folders and sonarr locked up. I had to force quit it using Activity Monitor. After that I was not able to connect to localhost. I deleted Sonarr and reinstalled again and localhost will work as a fresh install. When I try to restore from any of the scheduled back up files it no longer loads localhost. Fresh installs work fine every time but when I replace the config and DB files with back ups it won’t work. I’ve tried all (5) of the back ups I have including the one that worked last night. Any idea what I can do to fix this issue?

Thank You!

So I noticed that Sonarr was intact running bc files were downloading in transmission. I opened my config.xml file and see that the port is now set to http://localhost:38082/. Why would this have changed?

The only reason it would have changed was the config file was changed, either on disk or via the UI, then Sonarr was restarted. Could be a browser plugin/form filling autofilling the port and then it getting saved.
