I am trying to figure out the best way to handle my situation. I have Ombi set up with Sonarr so users can make show requests. However, Ombi can only seem to put shows in the default directory. If I have multiple source folders set up for Sonarr, what’s the best way to handle this automatically? I can work out the logic myself, I don’t want users to have to decide where to place a show. But say a show is put in the default folder. What would be the best way to automate changing the default folder? Preferably when the show is first added.
Sonarr doesn’t have a default directory that Ombi uses, but rather Ombi is sending the directory when adding the series, I’m not sure if there is a way to customize it or if it always requires the user to choose.
I don’t see an easy way to automate changing it (no custom scripts can be triggered when a series is added), so unless Ombi has a way to trigger one when a series is added I don’t see there being a good way to achieve that.
I didn’t think so. If I can’t do it with Ombi, I’m sure I can figure out a way to do it with either the Sonarr post processing or the torrent program.
