Automatic recreation of series folders

I recently had a HDD failure which resulted in a complete wipe of my series folders. Sonarr/NZBDrone was safely on a different drive and still has all my series listed as normal, unfortunately it does not seem to see that the series folders have disappeared. I can manually remove a show and re-add it which recreates the series folder, but is there an more automated way to do this? It would be very time consuming.

If a root folder is a deleted (intentionally or not), the files aren’t scanned anymore for changes.

This has been discussed in various topic lately, but I can’t seem to find the answer to your question.

Things you could try:

  • On the Series homepage, select “Update Library”.
  • On the Series homepage, per serie, press teh refresh icon (Update series info and scan disc".
  • On the Series homepage, select Series Editor, and mass change the root folder to a different directory, and then mass change it back again.
