Authentication availability for sites like kar.cr would make it possible for the downloads, seeds, etc to go towards your account there. There are also possibly other benefits to being authenticated that I am unaware of.

I totaly agree with this, it would benefit the torrent uploaders as well because it would be easier for us to give feedback.
